# Release notes

What changed in dVellum and its EspoCRM app, newest first.

## October 2026: dvellum.com; bounces; your own email (EspoCRM app 2.7.0)

- New addresses: the website is **dvellum.com** and the app and signing links are **app.dvellum.com**. Emails come
  from no-reply@notify.dvellum.com. Old links (dvellum.sapiensandmachines.com, esign.sapiensandmachines.com), signing
  emails already sent and CRMs set up with the old address all keep working.
- When an email to a signer bounces, the document says so, reminders to that address stop and the sender is told;
  a signer who marks the email as spam gets no more reminders. EspoCRM app 2.7.0 posts a note on the record.
- Premium: send from your own domain or through your own mail server (Settings → Workspace).

## October 19, 2026: the EspoCRM app says dVellum (2.6.0)

- EspoCRM app 2.6.0: **Administration → dVellum**, *dVellum URL*, *dVellum Envelope ID* and the other labels use the
  new name. Install it over the previous version (under Extensions it keeps the name *S+M eSign*).
- The docs moved to `/en/dvellum`; old `/en/esign` links go to the same page.

## October 17, 2026: S+M eSign is now dVellum; the sender hears back (EspoCRM app 2.5.0)

- New name and address: dvellum.sapiensandmachines.com (the old address redirects).
- The person who sent a document is emailed when a signer opens, signs or declines it, and gets the signed copy.
  Integrations name that person with `sender` in the API; EspoCRM app 2.5.0 sends the user who clicked Send.

## October 13, 2026: signing in Spanish, EspoCRM app 2.4.0

- Signing pages and signer emails in Spanish as well as English. Each workspace chooses its **Signer language**; a
  single document can use another one (`locale` in the API).
- EspoCRM app 2.4.0: **Language** in the Send for Signature window.

## October 12, 2026: EspoCRM app 2.1.0 to 2.3.0

- **Use for signature** on PDF templates: only the templates you choose are offered for signature.
- **On signature, set date field**: write the signing date into a field of the record.
- **Requires signed**: send a template only after another one is signed.
- Every record type that can have Documents can be switched on (EspoCRM 10); switching one on adds the Documents panel.
- Documents remember which **Template** they came from.

## October 11, 2026: EspoCRM app 2.0.0

- Settings in **Administration → S+M eSign**; choose the record types that can be sent for signature and who signs.
- Signed copies are kept as EspoCRM Documents linked to the record they were sent from (**Sent From**).
- Template values `esign.sender`, `esign.signer` and `esign.today`.

## October 7, 2026

- New markers `[[esign:title]]` and `[[esign:company]]`, and size options `|w=` and `|h=`.
- Markers are hidden in the signed document.
- Signatures sit at the left of their box with "Signed electronically by NAME"; smaller signature boxes.
- The certificate of completion has the same page size as the document.
- Your logo in the emails, with the option to hide the company name.
- A "sealing now" page while the signed PDF is being sealed; clearer **Sign** and **Initial** tags; fixes for phones.
